The Furness Peninsula Blue Light Hub is a modern, two-storey emergency services facility designed to integrate Fire, Police, and Ambulance operations under one roof, alongside a dedicated community space.

Located on Lightburn Road adjacent to the A590, the hub enhanced emergency response times and provided a base for promoting fire safety and community engagement.

The development includes appliance bays for two fire engines and one ambulance, a Fire House with training tower, administrative offices, meeting rooms, and welfare facilities. The 1.42-hectare site features 53 parking spaces, cycle storage, and landscaped areas to improve biodiversity.

This project replaced outdated facilities, delivering a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible hub that supports emergency services and strengthens community resilience.
