As part of a major relocation the site brings together all Matalan’s key operations in the North of England such as distribution, logistics and administration. Nestled into an existing mature woodland setting the HQ provides a modern and contemporary environment specific to the business’s needs.
This 132,000 sq ft BREEAM ‘Very Good’ building is entered through a full height glazed atrium leading to open plan offices arranged over three floors. The building also houses conferencing facilities, catering, staff welfare and communal break out spaces.
The facility was handed over on budget and ahead of programme.
