Culina Logistics Hub | Salford

Client: Peel Holdings

Completed in February 2016, this 280,000 sq ft Regional Distribution Centre serves as the first phase of infrastructure at Port Salford. It operates as a major logistics hub for the Greater Manchester area and holds the distinction of being the UK’s first tri-modal facility of its kind, designed to connect road, rail, and water networks.

The building is a central piece of Peel Holdings' broader Atlantic Gateway regeneration project. The facility is supported by a new deep-water berth that links the Manchester Ship Canal directly to Port Salford, providing highly efficient freight and distribution capabilities for the region.
