This EfW facility is adjacent to the M8 motorway at a strategic gateway into Glasgow from the north.

It processes up to 300,000 TPA of municipal and commercial waste to work in conjunction with the North Clyde MBT facility.

Glasgow planning authority required an exceptional design response for the project given it’s key location. FletcherRae secured planning consent following significant Design Review Panel scrutiny.

Since planning consent was granted the design has undergone a series of technical design iterations to fulfil the operational needs of the end user.
