This new waterside Mixed Use Development forms part of the wider ‘Ordsall Lane Regeneration Area’ in Salford and will provide 499 new high spec homes spread across two individual apartment blocks enclosing private gardens, communal gym, workspaces and secure parking separated by a large central landscaped courtyard.
The two main apartment buildings create an almost classical entrance to the site. Centred between these two prominent buildings, views through the site across gardens lead the eye towards the riverside. The buildings which house, apartments, resident’s amenity facilities together with an element of commercial / retail space are layered from 5 – 9 storeys in height. This layering is continued in the architectural language of the buildings with deep window reveals, balconies and other techniques to add depth to the elevational treatment
The Berkeley Square apartment block completed ahead of programme in Autumn 2025, Tranquillity has been progressing ahead of schedule with the team conducting lessons learnt workshops in advance of the main build and is set to complete in Autumn 2026.
