We offer everyone a big welcome at Horizon | fletcher-rae and want our clients and colleagues to feel they can use our studio as their own, as we actively encourage clients to use our space when in town as a place to work, or just have a coffee and a catchup.
Our open and inclusive approach to working ensures that we employ and retain the best team of professionals, which has also stood us in good stead in maintaining long lasting, productive relationships with so many of our clients.
Horizon | fletcher-rae is an award winning Chartered Architectural practice borne out of the merger of Fletcher Architects and Rae-Design in 2010.
The founders of the business, Robert Fletcher and Andrew Rae, are both well respected individuals in the property sector, having been friendly competitors for many years until the opportunity arose to work together in 2009. The bringing together of these like-minded commercial designers and businessmen, with their respective architectural teams, very quickly proved to be a strong and dynamic success, so much so it spurred them onto formalise a merger soon after (fletcher-rae).
Having established Horizon | fletcher-rae as a recognised architectural practice in the North of England, we have ambitious plans to further strengthen our reach across all sectors and across the country.
By assembling a strong leadership and an effective studio team under the umbrella of ‘Horizon Architecture Group’ (borne out of a Management Buyout in 2019) Horizon | fletcher-rae is well placed to provide clients with even more diversity, energy, creativity and experience to tackle major projects across all sectors and scale of development.
