Phase 1 has now secured outline planning and detailed design has commenced on the first three buildings. Covering 47.9 hectares, Phase 1, provides an appropriate and sustainable location for a new logistics park, ideally located on the M6 / M62 corridors with good connections to regional markets, northwest ports, and other logistics hubs. The location allows good access to the site from the strategic highway network, without the need to pass through residential neighbourhoods.

The development provides future growth in the logistics sector, and associated jobs, in a strategically planned parkland setting at a key site in the St Helens Borough and the wider City Region.
